Currently, I work in Manhattan and play in the Catskills.  I hail from a great state where the phrase "this ain't my first rodeo" is not an idiom. BBQ, Hush Puppies, Blue-Bell and Tex-Mex make up the base of my food pyramid, and when a woman refers to her style as "bold yet surprisingly down-home," she means her coiffed hair.  Yes, I was raised in Texas.

The idea of an advertising career arose when I thought of a commercial for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. I tried to share my idea with the company -- the yellow bottle advised "questions or comments please call,"  so I did.  Lesson learned, that's not how you get into advertising.
